Dems Win Control Of Corruption

November 8, 2006
Bite! News staff

WASHINGTON - Democrats took control of the House of Representatives for the first time in twelve years yesterday, signalling a new opportunity to partake in rampant corruption which was denied to them during the period of GOP rule.

"Today is a new day," said Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), House Minority leader and the woman poised to become the next Speaker of the House. "For years, Americans have watched their Republican members of Congress operate in a corrupt, highly partisan and closed manner. Now, Americans have spoken. They have made clear they want to hand the reigns of corruption to the Democratic Party."

President George W. Bush called Pelosi this morning to congratulate her on her party's win, and said he hoped the two parties would work together to screw the American people.
