LAGOS - Mary Eric has a problem.

The 75 year-old Nigerian woman has lost her entire family to political violence. She has terminal lung cancer. And if that wasn't enough, she is also deaf.

Now, in an exclusive, unsolicited e-mail received by Bite! News, Mrs. Eric wants to change her ways, and she needs our help to disperse millions of dollars in assets.

"I spend all my life on investment and coporate business. allthe way i lost my husband and two beautiful kids in fatalaccident that occur in november 5th 2003." begins the impassioned plea. "later inthe year 2004 february i was sent a letter of medical checkup, as my personal doctor testify that i have a lung cancer, which can easily take off my life soon."

Despite all her adversity, her faith in God and her pastor have steered her to help others.

" He minister to me to share my property ,wealth, tomotherless baby/orphanage homes/people that need money forsurvivor both student thet need money/ business woman andman for their investment for future rising. So therfore iam writing this letter to people who are really need helpfrom me both student in college, to conatct me urgently. sothat i can make available preparation on that. especiallywomen of the day, who are divorced by their husband, whythey cannot survive the mist of feeding their self.pleasecontact me to stop weeping. probably let me know what youreally need the money for, and if you can still help me todistribute money to nearest orhanages homes near your town.now am so much with GOD, am now born again.may the lord bless you, as you reach me,please to remindyou, dont belongs to scammers or any act of fraudulent oninternet."

Finally, she goes on to add that all she needs from a willing individual is their banking information to begin the transacation.

"Clearly, this is not a scam," says Charles Blake, criminology professor at Farland College. "She says right in the letter that she seeks honest people who aren't involved in scamming. I think you can trust her."
